We have a nice mix of large chain restaurants and individual restaurants, all of which offer good, high-quality food. Have you tried Himalaya Tandoori or Himalaya GO? It's a bit of a shame that we have Norway's fastest take away, with real quality food that is also made by robots in a kitchen here in Horten?
Food safari in Horten
We actually have such a varied selection of restaurants and eateries in Horten, that you can go on your own little food safari if you want. Try lunch somewhere you've never been, and that maybe offers food or taste experiences you've never tried before. Or if that's too risky, take a different dish from the menu at your favorite place, and get a new favorite dish? How about a bubble tea on the way to the next place? Eat dinner out or take it home, and maybe take an extra large portion - so you have dinner the next day too.
On the pier - in the harbor - in the city center - the possibilities are many!
If you want to sit outside in the summer, there are many that have a really pleasant outdoor seating. If you want to sit in a restaurant and enjoy your food with the sound of the waves, there are options down in Horten Harbor and Horten Brygge. If you prefer to feel the pulse of the city, there are several large and small eateries in the city center that can give you exactly what you are looking for. Here, the summer evenings will be long, and the memories will be many.
