About Per Bredesen
- Born 22.12.1930 in Horten and raised there.
- Football player in FK Ørn-Horten from his boyhood days
- Made his debut for the A-national team at the age of 18.
- Played 18 international matches and scored 7 goals until he turned professional. As a professional, he was not allowed to play for the Norwegian national team.
- Was bought by Lazio in Rome at the age of 21.
- Was the first to score a goal in a club match at the Olympic Stadium in Rome when it was completed in 1953 (Lazio – Roma 1-0).
- During 9 years in Italy he played for Lazio, Udinese, AC Milan, Bari and Messina, a total of 212 matches and 50 goals.
- Was Italy's most expensive player when he moved from Udinese to AC Milan.
- Serie A champion with AC Milan in 1957.
- Reached the final of the League Winners' Cup with AC Milan in 1958. AC Milan lost the final 3-2 after extra time. Helped eliminate Manchester United in the semi-finals. Did not play in the final against Real Madrid due to injury.
- Player and coach at FK Ørn-Horten after returning from Italy in 1961.
- Player and coach at Sports Club Falk 1970-1972.
- Played on the Old Boys team of FK Ørn-Horten until he was 67 years old.
- Considered one of the best Norwegian players of all time
- Honorary member of FK Ørn-Horten.
- Honorary citizen of Horten Municipality.
- Every year, FK.Ørn-Horten organizes the "Per Bredesen Cup" in his memory.
