Drop anchor and get ready for a pirate adventure you won't soon forget! Throughout July, we're transforming Thon Hotel Horten – Norway's first low-mountain hotel, just 2 meters above sea level – into Captain Redbeard's Pirate Hotel.

Captain Redbeard is not just a pirate – he is the Protector of the Sea! That's why he has docked at the low-mountain hotel, where he keeps watch over the Oslofjord and ensures that all pirates learn to take care of the sea. A world full of excitement awaits here for pirates big and small. Many exciting activities both at the hotel and around the city. How about joining a treasure hunt and maybe you dare to walk the plank? There will also be a Heidundranes pirate show on July 4th and 5th.
