

Rights around the logo
The use of films and the #Hortenlove logo is protected under the provisions of the Copyright Act with the following clarifications;
1. Instagram, Facebook and other social media: Residents and others are encouraged to use #hortenlove in connection with positive images from and about Horten. The # tag is not covered by copyright, it can be freely used by everyone according to the rules / guidelines given by Facebook and Instagram, or possibly other social media.
2. Film. Anyone who wishes can link to the film, or download it for screenings, for example in connection with business, municipal presentations, schools, private screenings, etc. It is not permitted to make changes or edits to the film, such as clips, sound, image composition, etc. It is also not permitted to take screenshots from the film for use in a commercial context, without the consent of the author (Hocus Focus AS).
3. The logo. The Hortenlove Association manages the rights to the logo and its use. It is up to the municipality to decide who can use the logo and how the logo can be used. (Film producer Hocus Focus AS and designer Lighthouse Kreativt byrÄ have the right to use the logo in their own marketing).
It is not permitted to use the logo on items to be sold without the consent of the Hortenlove Association.
Without exception, it is not permitted to make changes to the logo's design, for example with regard to placement or changing colors, without the consent of the designer/creator (Lighthouse Creative Agency).
It is also not allowed to imitate / plagiarize the design, according to the Copyright Act.
If there is any doubt about the use of film or logo, the Hortenlove Association must be contacted in advance.
